Starting again from a clean building
Floors stripped then protected, walls and skirtings washed down, fingerprints and removal marks erased, light fittings and letterboxes dusted, glazing redone, cobwebs cleared right to the top of the stairwell. This is heavy work, priced separately from routine upkeep.
It comes up in three cases: a building taken back after a period with no contract, the end of works in the communal areas, or a new managing agent wanting a clean starting point. We photograph before and after: that is what gets presented at the general meeting.
