Living with an animal, without it showing
Pet hair is not vacuumed away, it is lifted out: on a fabric sofa or a rug it has to be released from the fibre first, otherwise it works its way back up the next day. We treat soft furnishings, floors, skirting boards and the corners where it gathers.
The smell comes from the surfaces as much as from the air: litter tray, bed, accident spots, tile grouting. We clean at source with pet-safe products rather than laying a fragrance over the top — it is the only approach that holds beyond a few days.
