Time works against the surfaces
After a fire, even a small one, soot settles everywhere — including rooms the flames never reached — and turns acidic on contact with moisture. It then attacks metals, dulls plastics and works into porous surfaces. Every day of delay reduces what can be recovered.
We work in order: protect the unaffected areas, remove what is lost, clean the soot from top to bottom, decontaminate the surfaces, then treat the burnt smell, which always comes last. Everything is photographed for the loss adjuster before we start.
