Washing down walls and ceilings
A wall washed before painting is a coat of paint saved.
Preparing the surface, not just covering it
Washing down lifts what paint does not cover for long: fingerprints, nicotine yellowing, light soot, greasy dust above radiators and cookers. We work panel by panel, bottom to top to avoid runs, with floors and joinery protected.
It also stands on its own: in a light-coloured home dulled by time, a full wash brings back several shades without repainting. We tell you plainly, at the start, whether the wall will come up or whether painting will be needed behind it.
