Washing bins and containers
A bin washed on the inside, not just hosed down.
The inside of the bin, where it all starts
Washing covers the inside, the outside, the lid and the wheels, with hot water under pressure and then a disinfectant. The inside is what matters: residue stuck to the bottom of a bin keeps smelling however well the room housing it is kept.
The work is done on site where drainage allows, otherwise the bins are taken away and returned clean. Quarterly washing is enough in an ordinary building; in the Marseille summer heat, one extra visit saves a good many complaints.
