Shared car parks and basements
Dust, grit and oil marks: a parking level is cleaned by machine.
Going down to the basement at least once a year
Machine sweeping of each level, washing the access ramps, degreasing oil stains on the bays, cleaning stairs and lobbies, dusting accessible plant rooms. Otherwise the grit and dust travel back up into the stairwells on people's shoes.
Organisation matters as much as the work: we go zone by zone, with notices posted in advance so residents move their cars, usually half a day per level. One visit a year is enough in most buildings, two in heavily used car parks.
