Syndrome de Diogène
Clearance, decontamination and restoration of a home in extreme hoarding.
Properties nobody dares open any more, taken on without judgement and without exposing the family.
These jobs rarely come out of nowhere: an elderly person who could no longer cope, a tenant who left everything behind, a property occupied without rights. We come in with the right equipment and protection, sort what can be kept, remove the rest, then decontaminate surfaces and treat the smells.
The second issue is discretion. Our vehicles carry no loud lettering, everything goes through you alone, and the neighbours learn nothing about the case. Families, guardians, landlords and managing agents call us for that as much as for the cleaning itself.

Clearance, decontamination and restoration of a home in extreme hoarding.

Bringing back a home that has become unfit to live in, smells included.

Clearance, decontamination and securing a property after illegal occupation.

Emptying and restoring a property recovered after eviction proceedings.

Break-in damage, broken glass and fingerprint powder.

Restoration after deliberate damage, graffiti and breakage.

Ingrained smells removed by treating the air and the surfaces holding them.
Never. A home in a state of hoarding or squalor is the sign of a difficulty, not of a fault. We work with families, legal guardians and social services in the same spirit: the result is what counts, not the commentary.
Anything you ask us to keep is set aside, in particular identity papers, administrative documents, photographs and jewellery. Nothing identifiable leaves without your prior approval.
After cleaning and odour treatment, yes, in most cases. If the building fabric itself is affected — flooring to replace, a damaged partition, wiring to redo — we tell you, with photographs, rather than posing as a building firm.
A discreet call is enough to assess the situation and tell you what is possible.
